Little Big Town has been one of the most popular acts in country music in the 21st century. Chris Stapleton was unquestionably the hottest act in country music in 2015.

They'll share the stage at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Saturday for "Throwdown by the Bay." It's the second edition of the country concert, sponsored by radio station US103.5.

Also on the bill are Maddie & Tae, who had a hit with "Girl in a Country Song" and who performed at the Manatee County Fair last year.

Little Big Town was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in October, and they were named one of five Artists of the Year for 2015 by Country Music Television. The band's latest album, "Pain Killer," has been a critical and commercial success, and features the hit singles "Day Drinking" and "Girl Crush."

Stapleton's debut album, "Traveller," debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Top Country Albums chart, and re-entered the chart at No. 1 after his performance with Justin Timberlake at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards. Stapleton was awarded Best Male Vocalist, New Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year during those awards.

It's the first of at least two Stapleton shows in Tampa this year. He'll open for Hank Williams Jr. Aug. 5 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Details: 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30, Amalie Arena, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa. Tickets: $16.74, $36.25, $56.25. Information: 813-301-2500, amaliearena.com.
