Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton set Tampa concert

Stapleton's breakthrough first album, "Traveller," came out last May. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums and led to Stapleton becoming the the first artist to win Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year in the same year.

Country music and southern rock legend Hank Williams Jr. and the most highly acclaimed new artist in country are teaming up for a national tour, and it's starting in Tampa.

Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton will set out on a eight-show summer tour. The first show is Aug. 5 at the Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Williams just released a new album, titled "It's About Time," on Jan. 15. It includes a cover of Neil Young's "Are You Ready for the Country" as well as a collaboration with Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore and Brad Paisley.Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 29 at livenation.com.
