Performers shine at first Kids Fest in Palmetto

The first Kids Fest at the Bradenton Area Convention Center featured Atlanta-based rapper and singer L.D.

 Saturday with sets by Silento, iHeartMemphis and DLow.

This performance was the starting point for the Kids Fest National Tour, a tour dedicated to providing a safe and entertaining environment for kids across the country.

L.D.'s latest single, "Homesick," has been released off of his extended play "The Crossover," which will make its debut in early 2016.
