Cork's Cigar Bar wins Bradenton's Bar Wars

Cheers to Bradenton's Cork's Cigar Bar which won the Bar Wars competition for the second year in a row. The event was held Tuesday at Clancy's Irish Sports Bar.

Hundreds of people showed up to support teams from Clancy's, Cork's, Paddywagon Irish Pub, Lost Kangaroo Pub, Motorworks Brewing and Fan-atics Sports Bar & Grille.

The teams competed in an obstacle course, a tricycle relay race, a cooler-stacking contest and most creative drink contest.

A panel of four judges, which included Bradenton Mayor Wayne Poston and Herald features editor Jana Morreale, judged the creative drink contest, with the audience serving as a tie-breaker.

The team from Clancy's took second place overall and Fan-Atics came in third. Winners were awarded swag bags with various prizes, gift certificates to Clancy's, and, of course, bragging rights.
