Amy Shumer, Aziz Ansari headline comedy festival in Tampa

Two of the hottest comedians in the country are coming to Tampa. You don't have to choose between them because they'll be sharing the stage.

Aziz Ansari and Amy Shumer are the headliners of this year's Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival, the national comedy tour that stops Saturday at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

Technically, Ansari is the headliner and Shumer is the "very special guest." But they're the only two comics who will be on every stop of the tour. The rest of the lineup changes from city to city. In Tampa, the bill includes Anthony Jeselnik, Jeff Ross, Bridget Everett, Rory Scovel, Tim Minchin and Nikki Glaser.

This is the third year for the festival, which is organized by the comedy website Funny or Die. Last year's festival kicked off in Tampa, with Shumer, Ansari and Louis CK among the big names on the roster.

Both Shumer and Ansari are even bigger no than they were last year. Shumer has a huge hit with her movie "Trainwreck," and her Peabody- and Emmy Award-winning TV series "Inside Amy Shumer" is still going strong.

Ansari, who's best known from his role in "Parks and Recreation," released his first book, "Modern Romance: An Investigation" in June, and it made it to the New York Times best-sellers list.

Details: 5:15 p.m. Oct. 3, MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, 4802 U.S. 301, Tampa. Tickets: $42.25-$180.25. Information: 813-740-2446, livenation.com.
