‘Summer House' Season 11 Cast in Question After Amanda Batula–West Wilson Twist
One of the biggest questions Bravo fans are currently asking is who will return to Summer House for Season 11. After Amanda Batula and West Wilson flipped the script and revealed they are together, fans - and the cast - are now wondering what the series will look like as chaos sets in.
Amanda, an original cast member, was introduced to the show through her relationship with Kyle Cooke. Kyle and Amanda have been staples of the series since Season 1, but her place in the Hamptons lineup is now in question amid her new relationship with West.
The controversy also centers on West's history with Ciara Miller, who joined the series in later seasons. Ciara and West dated a few seasons ago but went through a difficult breakup after he became emotionally distant. The two appeared to reconcile during Season 10, only for that progress to unravel when West began dating Amanda - who is also one of Ciara's close friends. Cast members have taken sides, which is currently playing out on the reunion.
New cast members have joined OGs Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard, and by most accounts, Summer House Season 10 came close to hitting a sweet spot - a rare feat in reality television. But if Bravo learned anything from the Vanderpump Rules post-"Scandoval" fallout, it's that you can't turn back time and expect the same chemistry when resentment has already taken hold of the group dynamic. In fact, trying to return with the same cast may have been the nail in the series' coffin as fans knew it.
Summer House Season 11 will start filming soon, but Josh Brown, Bravo's VP of current production, says nothing is confirmed in terms of the cast. "But this is sort of par for the course for Summer House," he explained to The Hollywood Reporter. "We don't usually figure out our cast until just before we start filming. Just because it's a real friend group, and things evolve. We're trying to make sure that all the pieces of the puzzle that feel right in the house are there. So it's actually pretty early right now in terms of our process for who's going be there for season 11."
While Jesse Solomon teased to Parade that he's gunning for the master bedroom this season, Brown says he's truly unsure (or unable to share) who will actually return, including Ciara.
"I have known Ciara for a while. Even before this whole craziness of the last few months, I have been a huge fan of hers as a person. I can't really comment on her coming back, but she's someone whose story I want to follow for a very long time, on the show or not," he said. "She was an intensive care nurse during COVID, sometimes people forget that. She's a very unique person and I think that's why so many people out there have connected with her. She's unique and special. But at the end of the day, we want Ciara to be happy. We want what's best for her and what she wants to do."
Part two of the Summer House Season 10 reunion airs on Tuesday, June 2 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
