Ryan Reynolds Says He's 'Never Been More Proud' of Blake Lively Amid 'It Ends With Us' Legal Battle

Ryan Reynolds is showing support to his wife Blake Livelyamid her ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.

Reynolds was interviewed forToday's Sunday Sitdown on Sunday, April 19, where he shared what his family has been going through during the ongoing legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni.

"You really see the illusion behind so much of this stuff, digital life versus real life. Really, without getting into too much, I have never in my life been more proud of my wife," he said. "People have no idea what is really going on. I've never been more proud of someone in my life, with that level of integrity that they bring with them in everything they do."

The legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni began in Dec. 2024, when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni where she alleged that he sexually harassed her on the set of It Ends With Us. Lively also alleged that Baldoni constructed a retaliatory smear campaign to "destroy" her reputation.

Baldoni has denied all allegations against him as Lively is seeking more than $160 million in damages. A countersuit against Lively and Reynolds for $400 million was filed by Baldoni alleging defamation and breach of contract. Baldoni's countersuit was dismissed in June 2025.

On Thursday, April 2, U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed 10 of Lively's 13 claims against Baldoni including sexual harassment. However, her allegations regarding a retaliatory smear campaign will move forward to trial.
