News of the actress's reported hospitalization broke Thursday, April 16, with TMZ sharing that the 54-year-old was admitted back in March. It is unclear whether or not she remains in the hospital at this time, or if the reason is related to her multiple sclerosis diagnosis-which she has been open about since her diagnosis back in 2021.
A rep for Applegate did respond to Parade's request for comment, noting while they "have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are," that the comedian has "had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast."
