Pitbull to play a show in Sarasota. Tickets are expensive — but it’s for a good cause

If you’ve ever wanted an “intimate” performance with Pitbull and can afford it, March 28 will be your chance.

The Miami-born rapper will headline the Firefly Gala at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota at 1111 Ritz Carlton Drive beginning at 9:45 p.m., but the event will feature a lot more fun and fanfare.

Presented by the Dart Foundation, the gala will benefit Forty Carrots Family Center, an organization that strengthens families by providing research-based parenting education, high-quality early education and mental health services.

Forty Carrots has served over 5,000 families in the community and 93 percent of those served pay nothing.

The gala will kick off at 6 p.m. with a cocktail party followed by dinner. Pitbull takes the stage at 9:45 p.m., but the party continues with an after-party dance at 11 p.m.

Candlelight Patron ticket packages are available for $2,250, which features two reserved seats for the concert, dinner tickets and admission to the after party.

For more information about the gala and other ticket prices, email events@fortycarrots.com or call 941-365-7716 ext. 318.
