Country hitmakers Lady Antebellum perform in Tampa
Lady Antebellum has won so many awards that there’s a whole Wikipedia page just for the group’s awards. They don’t all fit on the band’s page.
Seven Grammy Awards. Six Country Music Association Awards. Six CMT Music Awards. Nine American Country Awards. Eight Academy of Country Music Awards, a bunch of other off-brand awards, and a nomination for a Kids Choice Awards.
Lady Antebellum has only been around for about 10 years, and the band has wracked up more awards than most other top-tier groups garner in their entire career.
You can check them out for yourself when the perform at Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphtitheatre on Friday.
It’s called the “You Look Good” tour, named for their most recent hit single. The single comes from their recent triple-platinum album “Need to Know,” the group’s first release in three years.
Openers on the “You Look Good” tour are Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young.
Ballerini is a 23-year-old singer who has already had a string of No. 1 singles ( “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs” and “Peter Pan”), a gold album and a Grammy nomination.
Young’s hits include “Sleep Without You” and “In Case You Didn’t Know.”
