“The Joshua Tree” was the album that made U2 one of the biggest bands on the planet, and songs from that album are dominating their current tour. The tour stops at Wednesday at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.

Here’s a look at some of the great songs that Bono and the boys gave us outside of “Joshua Tree.” Some of them you’ll hear at the Tampa show, others you won’t.

1. “I Will Follow,” from “Boy” (1980), revealed the band’s distinctive sound and really rocked.

2. “New Year’s Day,” the band’s first big hit, from the 1983 album “War.”

3. “One,” from 1991’s “Acthung Baby.” Just a beautiful song.

4. “When Loves Come to Town.” The band’s pairing with blues giant B.B. King on 1988’s “Rattle and Hum” didn’t look good on paper, but it really worked.

5. “Beautiful Day.” On “All That You Can’t Leave Behind,” (2000) U2 returned to the anthemic rock they were always great at.

6. “11 O’Clock Tick Tock.” One of their best songs in concert, as you can hear on 1983’s “Under a Blood Red Sky.”

7. “The Electric Co.” Never a hit, but a great track from “Boy.”

8. “40.” The last track from “War,” and a great sing-along in concert.

9. “Bad.” A powerful track from 1984’s “The Unforgettable Fire” that’s even more powerful on the live 1985 EP “Wide Awake in America.”

10. “Lemon.” A lot of people don’t like it, but Bono’s falsetto vocals on “Lemon” (from 1993’s “Zooropa”) make this one of the band’s most striking singles.
