Lisa Lisa and Stevie B. star in freestyle show in Tampa

If your passion for music developed in the ’80s, there’s a good chance you listened to a lot of freestyle, and watched a ton of freestyle videos on MTV.

And whether you still love that music or it just sparks a nostalgic warmth for you, you’re probably going to be excited about the Super Freestyle Explosion that’s coming to Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Saturday.

Ten freestyle acts, all among the biggest stars the genre produced, will be on hand. Even if each band only a couple of its biggest hits, that’s going to make for a solid evening of music.

Heading the bill are performers known as the Queen of Freestyle and the King of Freestyle.

Lisa Lisa’s hits include “Can You Feel the Beat,” Wonder if I Take You Home,” “All Cried Out,” “Lost In Emotion” and “Head to Toe.” Stevie B. gave us “Spring Love,” “Party Your Body,” “Dreaming of Love,” “Because I Love You” and “I Wanna Be the One,” among others.

Also on the program: Expose (“Point of No Return,” “Come Go With Me,” “Seasons Change,” “Let Me Be the One”), Shannon (“Let the Music Play,” “Give Me Tonight”), Sweet Sensation/ Betty Dee (“Hooked on You,” “Take it While it’s Hot”), Noel (“Silent Morning,” “Like a Child”), Trinere (“All Night,” “They’re Playing Our Song,” “I’ll Be All You’ll Ever Need), Connie (“Funky Little Beat,” “Rock Me”), the Jets (“Crush on You,” “You Got it All,” “Make it Real,” “Rocket to You”) and Stacey Q (“Two of Hearts,” “Shy Girl,” “We Connect”).
