Four kids joined in on bar fight in middle of the night, Florida sheriff says
Four juveniles were among 11 people throwing punches when a bar fight erupted in the middle of the night, according to investigators in North Florida.
It happened at the TNT Lounge near Middleburg on a night when the bartender had been serving booze to minors, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said in an Aug. 6 news release.
“In late July, a video circulated on social media showing what appeared to be a fight between multiple people in a parking lot,” the sheriff’s office said.
“Deputies immediately initiated an investigation, which revealed in the early hours of July 26, 2025, a fight between two adults quickly turned into a brawl involving both adults and children at the TNT Lounge.”
Seven adults and four juveniles were identified as participants and arrested within 24 hours, officials said.
Three of the juveniles were charged with simple battery, while the fourth (age 17) was charged with “aggravated battery after hitting one of the victims in the head with a glass bottle,” the sheriff’s office said.
Ages of the other three juveniles were not released.
The arrested adults include men and women, ranging in age from 18 to 36, officials said. Charges include disorderly conduct/affray and simple battery, officials said.
Investigators have not released details of what started the fight.
“Detectives also learned the bartender/manager for TNT Lounge served alcoholic beverages to juveniles the evening of the fight,” the sheriff’s office said.
As a result, Gracen Doan was arrested Aug. 1 and charged with “contributing to the delinquency of minors and selling, giving, or serving alcoholic beverages to a person under the age of 21,” officials said.
