The Clearwater Threshers scored four runs in the sixth inning to erase a 2-1 deficit as the Bradenton Marauders dropped the second game of their four-game series against the Threshers before 555 fans at McKechnie Field.Stefan Welch hit his fourth home run of the season for the Marauders. The homer extended Welch’s hitting streak to 12 games. Mel Rojas Jr. followed with his league-leading fifth triple, and scored when Carlos Paulino grounded out to second to give the Marauders a 2-1 lead in the second inning. Bradenton carried that lead until the sixth, when the Threshers batted around against Marauders starter Colton Cain and Jason Townsend to plate four runs. The Marauders loaded the bases with one out in the ninth before before Benji Gonzalez struck out and Drew Maggi grounded out.
