The Lakewood Ranch boys and girls swimming and diving teams both won a tri meet Wednesday against Manatee and Saint Stephen’s at G.T. Bray.
The girls scores were: Lakewood Ranch 148, Saint Stephen’s 91, Manatee 86.
First-place winners for Lakewood Ranch included: Emily Wray (200 IM), Gilly Vogel (500 free) and Rebekah Baker (100 breast). Razan Waliagha won the diving event for the Mustangs.
Annie Berdusco (200 free, 100 back) and Ellie Berdusco (50 free, 100 fly) earned first-place victories for Saint Stephen’s, while Manatee’s Emily Schnering placed first in the 100 free.
The boys scores were: Lakewood Ranch 110, Manatee 92, Saint Stephen’s 64.
Jimmy Casone (200 free, 100 fly) and Phil Czupryna (200 IM, 100 breast) finished in first place for the Mustangs, while Mike Berdusco won the 500 free for the Falcons.
Ben Carpenter (50 free), Sam Dorman (100 free) and Kevin Espinett (100 back) got victories for the Hurricanes.
SOUTHEAST 164, BAYSHORE 275 — Ryan Wolfe shot a 1-over 37 to earn medalist honors and lead the Seminoles past the Bruins at the River Club.
Cameron Powell shot a 68 for Bayshore, while Nick Lowry shot a 41 for Southeast (6-3).
QUAD MEET — Lakewood Ranch lost to Venice 155-156, but beat Englewood Lemon Bay (164) and Port Charlotte (174) at Jacaranda West Country Club.
Danny Walker paced Lakewood Ranch with a 37, while Kyle Benson shot a 39 for the Mustangs (16-4).
MANATEE 50, BRADEN RIVER 6 — Peter Pinnock and Titus Humphrey scored two rushing touchdowns apiece for the host Hurricanes (3-1).
DeMarquis Brice and Tarrell Boyton both scored a rushing touchdown for Manatee, while Josh Hamilton and Raland Brewer stood out defensively.
