Marauders beat Manatees 2-1 in 13

The Marauders came from behind for the second straight night to defeat the Brevard County Manatees 2-1 in 13 innings on Saturday night.

Cole Tucker hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 13th inning to give the Marauders the win. Dustin Demuth put the Manatees ahead 1-0 in the top of the third with an RBI double into the left field corner, and Manatees starter Cody Ponce shut down the Marauders’ offense, including striking out the side in the fourth and fifth innings.

The Marauders tied the game with two outs in the bottom of the ninth on an RBI double by Wyatt Mathisen. The Marauders’ bullpen combined for six shutout innings.
