Five errors doom Bradenton Marauders against Charlotte

Bradenton (38-31) committed five errors, leading to three unearned runs, en route to a 5-4 loss to Charlotte (34-36) at McKechnie Field on Thursday in Florida State League action.

Jace Conrad drove in the game-winner in the top of the ninth with an RBI single. The run was set up by reliever Luis Heredia’s first of two throwing errors in the inning.

Bradenton never led, but battled twice erased two-run deficits, scoring single runs in the sixth and seventh and two runs in the eighth. Kevin Kramer, Connor Joe and Elvis Escobar led the Marauders offense by going 2 for 4. Joe drove in two.
