Trump presidency would be disastrous

I would like to respond to Mike McLeod and his June 10 “Trump victory inevitable” letter. A wall certainly did not stop drug lords from escaping to America. Ever heard of tunnels?

The idea of a wall is just plain silly!

Hillary Clinton wants to allow refugees vetted and be welcomed, what this country was founded on. Donald wants to stop all refugees unless they are beautiful and will bow to him; example: latest wife. Trump has no problem hiring illegals to work for him at low wages, but rants they are all evil.

I have read many letters from you and will say there are not many I agree with; however, I never doubted your love for our country. Now I do. Trump is a disgrace to all veterans and all Americans. You fault Hillary for wanting to destroy the coal industry. Sir, coal is not clean. Miners have died for years in unsafe mines and from lung disease. Guess one does not care about the deaths the mining of coal has caused. The 23 percent you speak of need to be trained in a safe job, not one that kills.

The GOP has thrown everything at the Clintons and nothing sticks. Why? Because what you are throwing is nothing. What her husband has or has not done is not relevant today.

You accuse her of lying. Who lied more than George W. and his cronies?

Yet Laura Bush cannot support Trump. To support Trump is an insult to all of America. He is a racist bigot who will promise anything but has done nothing. A company built on stealing from subcontractors and senseless litigation.

A Trump presidency is not inevitable, it is doomed to fail.
