What is happening in America? Have we become a nation of terrorists? Are we so ridden with anxiety over the world situation that we turn on each other over race, religion or whatever else may separate us?
What sort of country are we leaving our children?
Is it one of brotherhood with tolerance of other people's religion or ethnicity or political affiliation? Or is it one of hatred and defiance in an atmosphere of violence?
America has always been a nation blended with people from different countries and cultures but who shared a common desire for a better life. Where did we go wrong?

My heart goes out to the families of those people in Charleston who so tragically lost their lives in a place of peaceful worship. I sincerely hope that something good can come from this senseless act.
May they all rest in peace and may this nation one day find peace or we will never release the cords that bind our destiny.
