Residents of Bradenton, $10 million will go in a heart beat compared to holding Evers Reservoir land for water in the future. They can say we have all the water in the world for the future, but look at California and their water situation.
I have seen Evers Reservoir down 9 feet of its normal 13-14 feet and water restrictions placed not just in the city but also the county (Lake Manatee). If you don't stop the sale of this important property, you will lose greatly.
The trees on the west shore were planted years ago by the Boy Scouts and Forestry. They will most likely be ripped out so that some home owner can see the lake as has been done at River Landings years ago.
I live in Manatee County, not the city, but a lot is at stake.
