I blame Obama and all the far-left liberals!
I can understand why Susan Fitzpatrick is puzzled (Letters, "Blame Congress, not Obama, for federal budget," May 5) since the majority of her letter is typical of a far left-winger that puts the blame on others.
Obama has been in office six years and has doubled the national debt, which is currently $18.2 trillion. Congress has attempted, several times, to reduce spending and received threats by Obama to shut down the government. Which he has already done and then blamed the Republicans.
Let's not forget that the Republicans took control of Congress just a few years ago.

By the way, it was the Democrats that decided to exclude themselves from Obamacare, not the Republicans as they didn't vote for it. Have you forgotten that Nancy Pelosi made the comment, "You need to pass this bill to find out what's in it!"
I still do not understand why Obamacare exists!
Prior to Obamacare, Obama stated that there are over 30 million people without healthcare. Yet, we find that we still have 30 million people without healthcare.
Typical! Blame the Koch brothers for donating to the Republican Party. Do some research and you will find people like Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor who donated $74.3 million to the Democratic Party, and then there is Michael Bloomberg who donated $15 million and of course there are several others who donated more than the Koch brothers. Do some research and check Political.com.
One of the few things that I agree with is that we need to trace the sources of special interest groups.
