Regarding the ongoing construction on Ninth Street East between 53rd and 57th avenues, the current members of the Manatee County commission have signs displaying their names.
Are they really proud of the progress being made here? This operation has been going on for months and is causing traffic problems every day.
The same situation persists on Pearl and U.S. 41.
Throughout the county other projects have been started. How about finishing one project before starting others?
Soon the entire county will be dug up. These commissioners were elected to keep the welfare of the residents as their priority. Perhaps the citizens of Manatee County can show their displeasure by dumping all the incumbents as they come up for election.
It probably took less time to build the New Jersey Turnpike.
