Nation needs politicians who represent the people

It appears the super committee considered failure to be an option and issued a short message about it. One questions how such an elite panel could be such quitters.

A little give here and there by both sides might have made it work.

Perhaps they could have discussed the $339 billion we spend each year on the illegal aliens in this country.

How about looking at the 2010 edition of the pig book and eliminate all the sacred cows and special interests our representatives add to legislation each year?

Perhaps a better result would have been found if these 12 quitters had been relegated to one of our stations in Antarctica, where they would stay until they resolved this problem.

Obviously we need more representatives who represent the people and not themselves.
