This is a response to Ed Siemaszko’s Nov. 9 letter. Firstly, your insulting comment, to those who are both conservative and believe in creationism, is irrelevant and offensive.
Granted, all politicians commit gaffes. Obama has a slew to his credit; just goggle Obama gaffes and see for yourself.
More telling of the persona of Obama is in his non-gaffes, i.e. “we should punish our enemies” (referring to Americans who oppose him politically).
The fact remains that Obama has almost doubled our national debt since taking office, and that Democratic policy has brought us to the abysmal housing market (see Barney Frank and company) that exists today. In addition, we have higher health insurance costs and higher unemployment.
I can always tell when an argument is weak when one must resort to childlike name-calling (Rick Perry as Dumb and Dumber) and gross inaccuracies (Ron Paul never said to “let them die,” google it).
A recession is when you neighbor loses his job; a depression is when you lose yours; a recovery is when Obama loses his.
