Can a liberal conceive that someone of a different race can be judged by their own merit and accomplishments free of color? Because that is exactly what Herman Cain is enjoying in the high poll numbers he is receiving.
Unlike our current president of the same race, Herman Cain has actually accomplished tangible productivity throughout his career. This is why his ideas are appealing to the Republican Party, not his color.
As a Republican, I would like him even if he were white, because I like his ideas and he seems trustworthy -- traits that are not exclusive to any race.
Is it possible that liberals don’t think black people are capable of being leaders of industry and problem solvers? Because why else would they suggest Republicans only “like” Herman Cain out of some form of “black guilt?”

If you have been paying any amount of attention to the Republican primary candidates, you would know that he has clearly distinguished himself with ideas and communication skills that are better than all of the other candidates. What a sad commentary on liberalism that it cannot recognize or admit when someone has transcended the need to be categorized by race at all.
