ST. PETERSBURG -- Tuesday's temperatures will be mild and will give little hint to the chill on the way for the Bay area.
According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker, temperatures Tuesday will be in the low 70s with partly cloudy skies.
"It will be a pleasant day with dry air in place," Linker said. "Then we will wait for the next front to cold through with will usher in some cold weather."
Wednesday's high temperatures will be in the mid 60s as the front comes through allowing for much colder air to move into the region by Thursday morning. An increase in winds will create wind chills in the 20s, Linker said.
Early morning temperatures Thursday will be in the upper 30s with the possibility of some freezing temperatures in the Bay area's northern counties.
High temperatures likely won't reach 60 degrees Thursday afternoon.
