ST. PETERSBURG -- Bay area residents will see another foggy morning Tuesday.
According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker, a dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.
"It will still be warm and humid," Linker said. "And there will be fog in place. A front moving to the south will have a stalled presence in the Bay area today."
The front will keep conditions mostly cloudy today.
In addition to the fog, showers from the gulf are drifting into the Bay area. That will create a chance of scattered showers during the morning hours and possibly into the afternoon.
The fog will break up by midday in most areas as a cold front slowly drifts in from the north. High temperatures today will be in the mid 70s.
Conditions clear for New Year's Eve with temperatures expected in the mid 60s by Wednesday night.
