TALLAHASSEE — The Senate on Wednesday pushed back the confirmation for the two newest members of the Florida Public Service Commission, David Klement and Ben A. Stevens, according to The News Service of Florida.
The Senate Communications, Energy and Public Utilities Committee had been scheduled to meet Wednesday morning, but Senate officials announced late Tuesday that the meeting had been canceled.
The two commissioners were appointed late last year by Gov. Charlie Crist as the PSC was mired in a conflict of interest scandal. Klement is a former editorial page editor for the Herald.
