TALLAHASSEE — Florida lawmakers are taking an extended break for the Passover and Easter holidays.
They completed committee work on differing House and Senate versions of the next state budget Tuesday night. Jewish members were able to return home in time for the beginning of Passover at sundown Wednesday.
House members will resume committee meetings Monday, just a day after Easter Sunday. Senators, though, won’t return to work until Tuesday.
Besides committee meetings, each chamber will be in session next week.
