Amid public resistance to releasing his tax returns, Donald Trump’s campaign says his personal net worth is in excess of $10 billion.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee filed his financial disclosure form with the Federal Election Commission, the second such form since he declared he was running for president. In a release announcing the filing, the Trump campaign boasts it shows “a tremendous cash flow,” with the billionaire businessman’s income being in excess of $557 million.
“I have built an incredible company and have accumulated one of the greatest portfolios of real estate assets, many of which are considered to be among the finest and most iconic properties in the world. This is the kind of thinking the country needs,” Trump said in the statement.
Trump has refused to release his tax returns, a practice typically customary for a presidential candidate. He has said his financial documents and tax rate are “none of your business” when pressed on why he won’t make the information public.

He’s said in the past that his net worth is determined by his “feelings.”
“Yes, even my own feelings as to where the world is, where the world is going, and that can change rapidly from day to day,” Trump said, according to court records. “Then you have a September 11th, and you don’t feel so good about yourself and you don’t feel so good about the world and you don’t feel so good about New York City. Then you have a year later, and the city is as hot as a pistol. Even months after that it was a different feeling. So yeah, even my own feelings affect my value to myself.”
