Rollover crash backs up highway traffic in Palmetto and Bradenton, police say
All lanes are open after a rollover crash blocked traffic near the DeSoto Bridge on Monday morning, according to social media posts by the Bradenton Police Department.
Officers said they responded to the 800 block of First Street West around 5:55 a.m. after a Jeep rolled over in a multi-vehicle crash.
Emergency responders brought one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police said the crash caused delays for drivers heading southbound from Palmetto into Bradenton over the DeSoto Bridge as traffic was detoured around the scene. Officers said they cleared the roadway by 8:05 a.m.
