BRADENTON -- A Bradenton woman with mental health illnesses was reported missing and police are concerned she may be attempting to travel to Mexico, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
At 8 p.m. Tuesday, Rosa Pineda, 40, was seen walking away from her home the 1100 block of 26th Avenue West in Bradenton and saying she was heading to Mexico, according to a news release. Pineda suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder but reportedly has not taken her medications in several months, police said.
Pineda was last seen in Plant City. She is said to be a woman weighing about 140 pounds and standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall. She has brown hair, brown eyes and a mole on her upper right lip.
Police said it is unknown what she was last seen wearing other than black studded sandals.
