MANATEE -- A Fourth of July celebration turned dangerous when a bullet struck a home, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
No injuries were reported.
The bullet struck a home in the 3200 block of Fifth Street East at 10:07 p.m. Saturday. The bullet entered a home through a window, penetrated an interior wall and landed on the floor.
It appears the bullet may have been fired into the air in a celebratory fashion before it hit the home, according to the report.
