BRADENTON -- Police arrested a man early Monday who will be charged with turning off the power to his ex-girlfriend's residence and grabbing her, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, turned off the power to his ex-girlfriend's apartment in the 4800 block of 51st Street West at 1:33 a.m., according to a release.

He then entered the apartment without permission and grabbed the woman, police said. Law enforcement units arrived on scene before anyone was hurt.

The suspect had a domestic violence injunction against him already, and criminal charges are pending. Charges may be added by the State Attorney's Office.
