SARASOTA -- An apparent double murder-suicide at a Venice hotel is under investigation, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
An adult male, his wife and mother were found in a room at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, 2935 Executive Drive, Venice.
Just before 4:30 p.m. Friday, the sheriff's office released the original 911 call from a hotel employee at 10:03 a.m.
"There's two guests in a room that killed themselves," the man said.

The employee sounded shaken and emotional as he spoke to the dispatcher.
"Do you think that they're beyond help?" the dispatcher asked.
"Yeah, they're -- they're gone," the employee said, letting out a sob.
He said the hotel housekeeper manager first walked into the room and saw the bodies. The employee followed and saw the bodies and two guns. The sheriff's office is not looking for suspects. Names of the deceased will be released after next of kin has been notified.
The investigation is ongoing.
