BRADENTON — A man was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop at 12:29 a.m. Thursday, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Jeremy Williams, 30, was arrested in the 3700 block of Manatee Avenue East, according to the report.
An officer reportedly stopped Williams because the vehicle he was driving had an illegal dark tint. Police noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle during the stop.
Williams then said: “I’m going to cut to the chase.”

He admitted to smoking marijuana in the car, according to the report, and handed over a cigar-sized marijuana joint and was arrested.
Williams was released the same day from Manatee County jail on $500 bond, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office website.
