Bradenton police charge man with firing gun

BRADENTON -- A man was arrested on multiple charges after numerous gunshots were fired in the 600 block of 22nd Way East, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

At 7:48 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a shooting call in the 630 block of 22nd Way East and found 44-year-old Mark Bouleris sitting in his carport area with several rounds of shotgun shells and 9mm round. According to a report, the shells and rounds were both spent and unspent.

Bouleris was charged with possession of a short barrel shotgun, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm while under the influence, possession of marijuana (under 20 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Bouleris was being held in Manatee County jail on bonds totaling $31,120, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office website.
