2 robbery suspects flee after pepper-spraying, stealing from victim at Bradenton motel

BRADENTON -- Two robbery suspects fled after pepper spraying a victim and taking money from him, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The incident took place at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday at Royal Motel, 1526 14th St. W., Bradenton.

According to the victim, a woman knocked on his door, then sprayed him in the face with pepper spray. She then pushed the victim into the room and covered his face with a pillow as a man looked through his motel room for valuables.

According to a release, the woman removed money from the victim's pockets. Both then fled the scene and the victim called 911.
