Bradenton police looking for man who stole jewelry, World War II rifle

BRADENTON -- Police are looking for a man who was caught on video leaving an apartment with stolen items, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

On May 12, an apartment in the 200 block of 3rd Street West was burglarized between 1:20 p.m. and 1:50 p.m., according to a release.

The burglar took multiple pieces of jewelry along with a World War II M-1 .30 caliber carbine rifle, police said. A man was caught on video in the garage carrying the rifle and a bag of stolen items.

The man is described as between 30 and 35 years old and around five feet and eight inches tall. He left the property wearing a red shirt and came back in a white shirt.
