MANATEE -- A Bradenton woman was charged with stabbing her boyfriend during an argument early Tuesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Kalesha Baily, 34, was arguing with her 28-year-old boyfriend at 2 a.m. Tuesday in Baily's home when she took his cell phone and walked to a residence in the 3700 block of 14th Street West in Bradenton, according to a release.
She walked back outside and her boyfriend confronted her there, deputies said, reaching for his cell phone that he believed was tucked into her shorts.
Baily slashed at him with an unknown object and left the area on foot, leaving minor injuries on his forearm, according to a release.
The boyfriend's injuries were treated by Emergency Medical Services on scene, and Baily was later found and arrested without incident, deputies said. She is charged with use of a deadly weapon and is being held at the Manatee County jail without bond.
