SARASOTA -- Police are looking for two men who might have information on the death of a 28-year-old man, whose body they left at a hospital with no information at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
The two men pulled up to Sarasota Memorial Hospital and left Derek Dewey, 28, of Sarasota at the hospital, according to a release. They left in a dark-colored minivan without giving any information on the victim or themselves.
Police said Dewey's cause of death is unknown, but that there is no danger to the public. They are waiting on toxicology reports for a possible drug overdose, which can take several weeks.
