BRADENTON -- An unknown man threatened to shoot a stranger Sunday night before fleeing in his vehicle, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
The man came to the victim's home in the 300 block of 22nd Street East at 9:40 p.m. Sunday, police said.
He pointed an assault rifle at the victim and said, "I am here to shoot," according to a release. The victim took off running and was not shot.
The man got back into his vehicle and left the area. Police said they are looking for the man but did not provide a description.
