2 charged with armed robbery of Bradenton home, falsely pawning items, drug possession

MANATEE -- Deputies arrested two Wednesday evening on charges of stealing lawn equipment and a weapon, falsely pawning items and drug possession, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Carl D. Brown, 36, and Andrea D. Angelo, 33, entered a porch in the 5300 block of 24th Street East and took a leaf blower and a cross bow, according to a release.

They later pawned the leaf blower at the Money Man Pawn Shop, located at 1608 53rd Ave. E. in Bradenton, deputies said.

The two suspects were located and arrested at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday, when deputies said they also discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Brown and Angelo were both charged with armed burglary, dealing in stolen property, defrauding a pawn broker, drug possession, heroin possession, cannabis possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brown is being held in the Manatee County jail on $22,000 bond and Angelo is being held in the Manatee County jail on $29,620 bond.
