MANATEE — Northbound U.S. 41 north of Palmetto reopened at 9 p.m. Wednesday nearly six hours after at least one person was hurt when a semitractor turned over, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 3:24 p.m. near Piney Point Road, according to the FHP website.
There was a complete roadblock on northbound lanes, FHP reported.
A trooper at the scene said a truck carrying some unknown materials was the only vehicle involved.
