Three arrested on charges of breaking into Manatee car wash

MANATEE -- Three suspects were arrested early Monday on charges related to trying to break in to a car wash machine, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

A witness called law enforcement after witnessing Timothy Kaiser, 30, and Jeremy Triplett, 31, using a crow bar to open change machines at the Friendly City Car Wash at 3015 53rd Ave. E. at 1:27 a.m. Monday, deputies said.

Deputies converged on the area and the two suspects tried to run away but were apprehended in a nearby Walmart parking lot, according to a release. They had burglary tools on them.

Ashley Tronicke, 27, was found in the Walmart parking lot and is Kaiser's girlfriend, according to the report. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and arrested as well.

The two suspects didn't get any money, but did cause significant damage to the car wash, deputies said.

All three have prior charges related to burglary or theft, according to records with the sheriff's office.
