Unknown suspects use firearm to rob East Manatee deli

MANATEE -- Deputies are looking for two suspects who threatened people leaving a store with handguns and robbed them Tuesday night, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The 30-year-old and 50-year-old victims were leaving Noreen's Deli at 616 30th Ave. E. at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday as the store was closing, deputies said.

Two unknown suspects used a firearm to force them back into the store and demanded money, according to a release. The suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash and a firearm and then left the store without injuring the victims.

Deputies did not locate the suspects, who were described as two men, both six feet tall, both dressed all in black, one skinny and the other muscular and one with a white skeleton pattern on the front of his black sweatshirt, according to a release.
