Bradenton man charged in fatal shooting of girlfriend set to stand trial beginning late August

BRADENTON -- A Bradenton man charged in the fatal shooting of his live-in girlfriend is set to stand trial beginning late August.

Terry Braddy is charged with manslaughter with a weapon. He is accused of shooting Linda Brown with shotgun during a domestic dispute, but Braddy had told investigators it was accidental.

The case is set to go to trial during the two week trial period that begins Aug. 31.

Braddy is being held at the Manatee County jail on no bond.
