BRADENTON -- Police are investigating a possible case of child abuse after two 3-month-old infants were admitted to All Children's Hospital with significant injuries, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
The two babies, who reside in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue East in Bradenton, were admitted to the hospital with healing fractured ribs and a possible skull fracture, according to a release.
The hospital called the Bradenton Police Department on Monday at 9:53 p.m. on Monday, and police responded to the hospital. The infants' injuries are not life threatening.
Forensic medical exams were arranged through the Manatee County Child Protection Team, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
