TALLAHASSEE -- Gov. Rick Scott announced five appointments to the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency State Advisory Group, including a man from Bradenton.
Ed Brodsky, 49, of Bradenton, state attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit, fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a open-ended term beginning Feb. 16.
The other appointments: Jennifer Borowicz, 22, of Port St. Lucie, fills a vacant seat. Gisela Laurent, 38, of Winter Garden, fills a vacant seat. Oscar Salvador Garay, 24, of Miami, fills a vacant seat. Shadai Simmons, 23, of Pinellas Park, fills a vacant seat.
