MANATEE — A failed strong-arm robbery at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of 32nd Avenue East was reported to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim told deputies he was accosted by two males who demanded money, punched him and tried to take a shoulder bag and fanny pack from him. The victim managed to hold onto his possessions.
The suspects fled toward First Street in a blue Hyundai, according to the report.
The victim reportedly walked to 1200 block of 14th Street West before calling law enforcement 40 minutes later.
The suspects were not found by investigators.
